The Lost Years of Jesus
The above graphic is an interesting depiction of the divine spark. Check out this website. The brief narrative is taken from the book The Lost Years of Jesus that contains Gnostic themes. These themes are controversial, suggesting that the divine spark transcends the exclusivity of Jesus as the Son of God. Beyond Gnosticism are the underpinnings of Buddhism suggesting — as previously discussed — that the divine spark resides in all beings. In previous blogs, I suggest the divine spark is planted in all forms of creation organic; that is, all of God’s creation. Historically, the suggestion that Jesus spent 17 years of his early life mastering Hindu and Buddhist scriptures should be viewed as a promising thesis, uniting religious beliefs and promoting a common starting point for exploration if not understanding.
